Iconic Hotel - by Echo Hotels

My adult daughter and I stayed here for two nights while at Icon convention just around the corner. The distance was perfect for our needs and I left my car in parking the whole time. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all around and it's super close to the train station if needed. The room was pretty nice. Everything felt new and in good condition, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was lovely and accommodating. Loved the complimentary coffee and cookies at reception. Fantastic view from the terrace. Liked the high tech tables beside the bed with built in light and USB charging. The room door was also cool and beeped when not closed properly (which is important for safety).

The room felt a bit cramped for two people, and the current trend of having the bathroom and toilet enclosed by glass is not cool if you aren't on a romantic vacation (and maybe not even then) and do not want to see your travel partner doing their business. I'd recommend adding some more shelving, wall hooks, especially in the bathroom and a nightlight option in the bathroom instead of being blinded by neon in the night (I brought one from home). The fridge was the smallest we've had in a room. Barely fits a few water bottles.

It’s a little clean and quiet boutique hotel within walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Reasonably priced. Very accommodating friendly staff. Highly recommended!
