The location was great, just a few minutes from a bus stop which went into Edinburgh. It was a 25 minute bus trip to get downtown, but it was very easy with no transfers needed. It was also less than 15 minutes to the airport via Uber. The room was very clean and sufficiently comfortable. No breakfast was included, but there was a little kitchenette that was available for use.

The room is on the ground floor of a row house. The bathroom is across a little hall, directly opposite the bedroom. There are no other guest rooms downstairs, so it's not a shared restroom, but it's also not in the same space as the bedroom. There is no mirror above the sink in the bathroom so shaving or other prep is more challenging as a result. The facility apparently sent me a text with the code to access the lock box with the key but I didn't receive it. It made checking in more of a challenge, but once I got the key, it was great.
