Good location and good restaurant

Our room was next to the lift and it was really noisy at times.

Good location and a decent restaurant on the premises. Thanks to the staff for quickly fixing the room issues. Overall, it’s a fine place for the money.

The hotel star rating system exists for a reason. I was looking for a higher level of comfort and fell for the 4 stars listed on the website. However, the sign at the entrance clearly states it is a 3-star hotel. If the information on Booking had been honest, I would have either found a place more to my taste or prepared better (instead, I had to buy hair conditioner/shower gel/razor out of my own pocket). As for the room itself, it was inconvenient in every way: • Despite my late check-in, I arrived to find a broken power socket and a broken toilet seat. The staff fixed it quickly, but it’s strange that this couldn't be checked and resolved beforehand. • The absolute worst part was the Air Conditioner unit positioned above the headboard. I was afraid of catching a cold from the direct airflow, so I had to keep it off and sleep in the heat. • On top of that, the desk was short and uncomfortable, especially since I know the hotel has rooms with proper long desks and better window views. • I didn't like breakfast, although I am not a picky eater. But this is definitely a matter of taste.
