The owner, his family, the staff, and even the dog were all lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The location is right in the centre of the action...only a few minutes walk to Dashashwamedh Ghat.
Trying to find the guest house the first time is challenging as is hidden deep in the galis along the Ganga. Because there is no glass in the windows of the bathrooms the sound from the other rooms carries in and you get to listen to every other guest in the house doing their business.

Staff was very polite and helpful they helped me to explore the nearby localities also, room was clean ...as a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying at Sankardev Paying guest house
