Eine einfache Holzhütte, die aber alles bietet was man braucht (auch ein Kühlschrank ist vorhanden). Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten bequem. Die Lage mitten in Sok San perfekt. Günstige Restaurants und ein Supermarkt direkt daneben. Auch laundrys gibts ohne Ende. Dennoch ist es am Abend sehr ruhig. Man hört nur das Meer. Das beste ist allerdings die Lage am Wasser. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist unbeschreiblich. Die Wellen rauschen direkt unter der Hütte durch. Wir haben nirgendwo anders so gut geschlafen. Der Ort Sok San ist ganz im Gegensatz zu Koh Touch einfach traumhaft.

Nicht auf die Unterkunft bezogen aber dennoch gut zu wissen: Als wir angekommen sind war Vollmond und die See deshalb eher unruhig, was dazu führte, dass sehr viel Müll angeschwemmt wurde. Aber keine Panik: sobald sich die See beruhigt wird das Wasser klar und der Müll verschwindet (wird vermutlich eingesammelt). Es gibt keine direkte Fähre nach Sok San. Man kommt am Long Set Pier an und muss dann ca. 20 min um 10$ mit dem Tuktuk zur Unterkunft fahren.

3Bett Cottage mit Dusche/WC direkt am Meer. Sehr einfach gehalten. Haarföhn vorhanden. Gastgeber sehr höflich und erfüllt, wenn möglich, Wünsche.

Hinter dem Cottage sind Bauarbeiten für eine Strasse im Gange weshalb es lauter war als normal.

Being that close to the water was a new experience for me. Made it fun to go for a quick swim before breakfast. You could rent a scooter to tour the island. Restaurants nearby were great. Aircon worked well. Bed was comfy.

The building was old and I was concerned if it was safe. I think we were given the oldest cottages because they were joined and I was staying with a family member in their own cottage. I would like to have seen the newer cottages which were further back on the beach and more private. Price was a little high considering the condition.

It was dirty, and didn’t feel safe at all - I ended up only staying one night and moved into a different place for the next 3 nights
