Very large, bright and comfortable. Conveniently situated. Good value for money.

So many stairs! Would not suit anyone with mobility problems. Could do with a dressing table or chest of drawers in bedroom. Need hand towels as well as bath towels. Some cleaning needs improvement. Table mats were filthy. Window blinds very dusty.

The flat is huge, comfy bed and decent location for a weekend break. Nice to have some board games and good communication with the hosts.

Bad smell from the drains in the shower and very low water pressure. Felt a bit anxious about noise as neighbours clearly have issues with the door banging etc so didn’t feel very relaxed coming and going.

Plenty of space and easy kerbside parking

Kitchen could have been better equipped.

VERY IMPORTANT- We looked forward to a relaxing Sunday morning in the property but could not stay in the flat that morning due to Marijuana smoke coming into both floors of the flat from the ground floor flats. We didn't want to inhale this illegal and unhealthy smoke - my wife is also asthmatic - so we had to leave the flat and walk around town instead, despite none of the shops being open yet as it was a Sunday morning. Not what we wanted to do. This was reported and a prompt response was received about it from the owner, which we appreciated. However, the offer of a refund for one night's stay, having been accepted, has apparently been withdrawn. At no point did I say we had vacated or checked out of the accommodation. I don't understand how I could communicate that we had to leave the flat to get away from the smoke without using the word 'leave'. So, since the stay concluded, we had some generic messages - neither of which mentioned that we had vacated the property early or with any mention of the marijuana smoke. I understand that the flats below might not have been tenants of the same hosts but the hosts are responsible for the quality of their property and if the air quality is poor then they are not offering what was paid for when we agreed to the terms and conditions. I have to conclude that marijuana smoke is alright to be allowed into the flat of 2 non-smokers without compensation, despite the Non-smoking policy in the contract.
