Madi Beach Guesthouse

The rooms were full of character and only around the corner from the excellent restaurant based at the premises. Room was cleaned to a high standard every 3 days.

The bathroom is open ,( no ceiling above the shower), so when it rains heavily, which is often, the entire floor and bathroom accessories on the work top , can get soaking wet . Including the toilet paper ! For 2 nights , we had to contend with the back up generator , clunking through the night . This was pointed out and acted upon . Otherwise , blissfully quiet and effective air conditioning too .

Suggerisco dei cassetti, armadio e comodini non ne hanno … si deve tenere tutto appeso e a vista. Gestire meglio i lettini sul mare che mancano solo quelli con scritto Madi e purtroppo di fianco alla gh é in costruzione l’ammesso ristorante.

The incredible snorkel beach is right in front of the hotel, just 5 steps from the exit. And the equally beautiful bikini beach is just a 1 minute walk away. Madi came to Dharavandhoo airport to bring us to Maalhos by boat - a perfect arrival! The first evening we had dinner in the restaurant related to the hotel just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. As it was wonderful we booked dinner with Madi for the rest of our stay - delicious: grilled fish and different curries were our favorites! But the most unique experience was our excursion to Hanifaru bay to see the Mantas - amazing!!! They swim below and towards you... often not more than just half and arm distance away from you!!! Wow!!! Maalhos is just a 15 minute trip away from there. It was an amazing experience, with this unique nature and all the friendly island people.
