Golden Beach Hotel Lombok

The restaurant is fantastic, the grounds where nice, proximity to the beach was great

The beach is full of litter which isn’t the hotel’s fault but it’s sad to see

A wonderful place to stay overnight before heading to Gili Lontar. The staff were very friendly, great food and the room was very clean!

I should have stayed longer!

Friendly, helpful staff were always quick to help with any query. The beach side restaurant was delightful and the sound of the ocean was instantly relaxing. Hiring a boat and guide for the day was effortless as was hiring a scooter for a day out.

The driving speed at times was a culture shock especially with little kids walking unsupervised by the side of the road.

Abseits der Touristen Ströme

Die Bilder der Unterkunft sehen viel besser aus als die Realität. Der Strand war sehr verschmutzt mit Abfall. Ich konnte einen Blick in die Küche werfen und wollte da auch nichts essen. Zimmer und Bett war ok und auch sauber, Bad nichts schönes aber immerhin Minimum Hygiene sauber wenn auch komischer Geruch. Das Personal sehr träge, und spricht kaum Englisch. Ebenfalls zu beachten, es liegt eine Moschee sehr nah an der Unterkunft welche sehr laut ist und man kaum schlafen kann. Ich hatte ursprünglich 3 Nächte gebucht, bin aber am nächsten Morgen nach der ersten Nacht abgereist. Ebenfalls hatte es nicht wirklich andere Touristen, nur Locals, was mich etwas fehl am Platz fühlen lies. Würde die Unterkunft höchstens empfehlen wenn man auf der Durchreise ist für eine Nacht
