Paraiso Madeira - Suites

Everything was perfect; our lovely hosts, Goretti and Mauricio, welcomed us like family and with Madeira wine, pastries, and fruit. The house and room were new and offered every comfort. The location was fantastic—surrounded by greenery with a great view of the sea—and featured excellent beds, secure parking, and a very quiet setting that was easily accessible by car.

The location is excellent — central enough to reach every corner of the island easily. But what made the stay special was the hosts. They were unfailingly generous with their time and knowledge, happy to advise on where to go, what to eat, and how to get around. Their local recommendations helped us shape our trip- Especially PR1. Their hospitality went far beyond anything we expected. They gave us fruits from their own garden — I mentioned one morning that I liked mango, and that evening they picked a Madeiran mango for me. Small gesture, but it says everything about the kind of people they are. They also showed us around the garden and had us taste Madeira wine, clearly delighted to share something authentic with their guests. We had breakfast one morning and it was wonderful. Goretti is a genuinely good cook and served a delicious spread ; the tropical fruit platter was my favourite. Maurisio took us out for espetada so we could try the local speciality properly. They offered several times to take us for poncha too, and we only missed out because we ran short of time — next visit, without fail. When we left, she packed sweets she had made herself. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. If you want somewhere that feels like home rather than just a place to sleep, stay here. Thank you to both of you — we will absolutely be back if we return to Madeira.

Nothing to dislike

L’accueil chaleureux avec un panier garni de bienvenue, composé de fruits du jardin et d’un gâteau typique fait maison, l’attention portée par Goretti et Mauricio sur le bon déroulé de notre séjour, les équipements à disposition

Le lit pourrait être plus confortable, le matelas à mémoire de forme est un peu trop mou donc on s’y enfonce
