雪の光 白馬 Yukino Hikari Hakuba -

The hosts were friendly and although some didn't speak much English, we used translation tools and had nice conversations. Room was comfortable, the Japanese style beds and pillows were superb. Breakfast was excellent and delicious, and we were served such a variety of meals over the 5 days. The in-room hot tub was a bonus after long days of snowboarding. We also like that there were only 2-3 rooms so it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

The room could do with some shelves or drawers for clothes for longer stays, although we were happy to mostly live out of our suitcases and hang up our jackets in the hanging wardrobe.

We absolutely loved our stay in Hakuba. This property is located in Echoland, perfectly positioned between Goryu Ski Resort and Happo-One Ski Resort, with a short walk to the shuttle buses each morning or the restaurants at night. The accommodation itself was comfortable, immaculately clean and incredibly welcoming. With only three guest rooms on the property, it feels peaceful and personal. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette, and having our own private onsen-style spa bath attached was a great way to relax after a day on the mountain. The room was serviced daily, which made the stay feel even more special. The hospitality was truly exceptional. The property is run by a lovely older Japanese couple who speak limited English, however nothing that google translate can’t help with and their daughter is available to assist when needed. Each morning, breakfast is freshly prepared from scratch — either traditional Japanese or Western — and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. They were also more than happy to accommodate any requests. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and would absolutely stay here again when visiting Hakuba

We couldn’t fault it

This was beyond my expectations for a stay. Akane, and her welcoming mother and father went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I have stayed in Hakuba at 4 prior places and this was my best by far. The room was spacious - with a hot tub after a long days snowboarding, a generous and delicious breakfast served every morning, we felt spoilt ! Akane also drove us to our snowboarding mountain of preference each day in the Hakuba valley. She also went above and beyond to give us advice for our Tokyo trip shortly after - as well as reserving us / recommending us local restaurants in the area. Cannot thank them enough for welcoming us into their home - we are so grateful. A true Japanese Hakuba experience

Very friendly people in a great location

It’s advertised as a Hotel where it should be advertised as a home stay, we didn’t know there was a curfew we needed to be back by each night which is quiet annoying when you book a holiday and have to be home before they lock the door.
