Lanciano is a good central location to visit both inland and coastal locations. It also has an excellent choice of shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious and is located underneath the owner's property with its own separate outside seating area. The building is modern with a similar style of interior furnishings. The owner's zen style garden is attractive. The internet and wi-fi connections are excellent. Pet Friendly.

On the Booking.com website it is stated that private parking is available but does not mention any related charge, nor was it made clear upon arrival that this space was not included in the rental price (high) of the apartment. However upon departure, the owner demanded a parking fee of €5,00 per day to be paid in cash which seems unreasonable for parking in the garden area. Identifying the property is also difficult since the civic number (144a) is not signposted at street level and can only be found once going down a very narrow road to the gateway of the property. Access is also sometimes blocked by cars parked outside the Post Office and since Via del Mare is a busy one way street, it often involves circulating several times in order to enter. The name of the property La Dimora Di Fra only appears in a very small plate underneath the doorbell which is of little use in order to find the property upon arrival.
