Very clean and well located. Definitely older. Really wish there were tissues and better hooks for towels in the bathroom, but otherwise it was great. We never had a problem finding parking, but it was in our mind with the time we returned to the unit every day.

Great place to stay. It was clean and cozy. We love that we could walk to so many places.

Small, but clean. The listing was accurate. Great location with everything needed within easy walking distance.

Room was clean, all that I needed was in the room. Close to shopping and restaurants. I have stayed at Kona Islander many times and have learned that if I want to park on the premises to get there before 5p.m. and not drive anywhere at night -- not a problem because there are many restaurants and shopping walking distance.I live on Maui and come to Hawaii Island frequently and usually my first choice is the Kona Islander because of convenience and value.
