Straight of the bat as soon as I arrived - WOW - Jayda - welcoming, friendly, full of positive energy & most importantly 100% genuine. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years, so I have high expectation in that regard. During those years I've only come across a small handful of people who have the genuine aura of being 100% real, like Jayda. I was made to feel welcome & encouraged to join the others for a cheese platter, Jayda had prepared. The bus stop isn't even a 5min walk from the property & for someone who has trouble sleeping, there is a 24hour service station across the road, so late night snacks or a hot chocolate or early morning coffee is just a hop skip & jump away. Loved my roomies for the 2 nights & loved my bed as well, like sleeping on a cloud. I can't wait to go & stay again & explore the area more, now I know of an amazing place to stay.

More a suggestion than grumble... maybe a hook on the back of the toilet door, to be able to hang a small bag. As I said NOT a grumble more a suggestion

Finally a hostel where people say good morning and take care of each other! I arrived here sick and the three girls on my room took care of me and invited me to their BBQ. Jayda runs the place and has been so sweet, holding a room for me, inviting us all for a cheese and charcuterie platter evening. Apart from that the beds are super comfy, you get your own night stand and little wardrobe area. The bathroom smells fresh and is always clean. Seriously love the place. Can't recommend enough!

Fridge in the room was handy

Very loud. Inside the hostel, outside the hostel. Lots of noise, on a main road so get lots of traffic noise too. People coming in at 3am, talking loudly. In the morning the manager was really loud outside our room, talking to other guests in the room next to us, right by our door. The kitchen was very cluttered and looked messy. Not like the pictures. This felt more like a halfway house, could hear the manager saying people had been there for months. The sheets were poor quality, looked/felt tatty and old, and mattress felt very worn out. Upon reflection, should have booked somewhere else.
