The location was perfect, near the train station and easy walk to all the major sites in the city. But the area was still more quiet and not so crowded. The apartment was spacious and had all the necessary items for a good stay, the bed was comfortable and it was easy to get in touch with the host.

The electricity went out once during our stay, luckily we found quite easily the fusebox and were able to get them back on quickly. There was quite a bit noise coming in from the restaurant nearby and the italian apartments (in general) are not very well soundproof so be prepared for the noise from the streets (this was not a concern for us, but good to note).

The apartment is advertised as having a bed and a sofa-bed, which is misleading. The sofa-bed was broken and not usable (it had broken hinges on both sides so could not be unfolded and was stained all over - i have pictures). After we notified the administrator, it was fixed after two days, however the owner insinuated that we broke it and stated that we had to notify him and pay extra to be able to use it anyways. This was not mentioned in the booking.com posting and I don’t think i have to ask to be able to use something which is included in the listing. I booked this place because i needed an extra bed for medical reasons and it created a big problem for me, but the owner did not take any responsibility for it and asked for extra pay; on top of it instead of apologizing, he blamed us for breaking it! We did not appreciate it. Also, the stove only lights up when you press it for approximately 1 minute every time - annoying :-(.
