The magnetic curtain kept the room nice and warm, and the TV worked well. I quite liked how no-nonsense the lodge was, will definitely come back if I'm in Ohakune again.
The cold tap in the bathroom wasn't working, and a small fridge would've been nice, but still good value for money otherwise.

Location
The soundproofing was very poor. Even after 2 a.m., there were still cars coming and going, which was extremely noisy and made it difficult to sleep. Parking is not allocated outside each room as we expected; cars can park wherever there is space. The room was also very cold during the night, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.
