Really comfortable and clean property. Extremely helpful staff who go above and beyond, in particular Sachin who was very helpful across our stay. In a quiet neighbourhood as well which made it wonderful to come home to.

Great location- very private down a lane and in a good area. Room was clean and practical for a short stay. The house itself is also beautiful with a garden and lots of couches both on the ground floor and first floor, it has a homely feel throughout. The price was also very good.

Not somewhere to stay if you are planning on a late evening though, as they ask for you to be back by 1130pm in the evenings before they lock the main gate and front door. This didn’t bother me the night before my international flight, but I likely wouldn’t stay if I was spending longer.

The property has a nice, simple feel, modern furniture, and the location was convenient.

We didn’t really receive any hello or welcome when we arrived, we were simply asked to pay and given the keys. The caretaker didn't really communicate with myself nor my husband (who speaks Sinhala), which made the interaction feel a little awkward. The rooms do look like the pictures, but in reality they felt less inviting. There was visible mould in both the bedroom and bathroom, the fan was quite rusty, and when we arrived everything felt a bit dark and musty. It just felt like the rooms could use a bit more attention and maintenance. We really didn’t expect much, and had also booked quite at last minute, but having stayed in many similar places in Colombo, we have found other places at a similar price point to be a little more welcoming.
