Comfy bed. Large room. Seemed quite clean. Host responded quickly to my text- was very cold. Had a resident adjust thermostats. Got cold again so she had me do it. Offered to give lock code to another room to look for heater. By that point I just wanted to sleep.
Left after 1st night. Every room has lock that talks so could hear ‘ door locked’, ‘door unlocked’ each time someone went into bathroom next to our room.
Host insisted that I got a good value - maybe Booking takes 50%, but I paid 2x what she said I paid- so no, not a great value. All recs she gave were back into downtown area ( 15-20 min away) and straight out of guide books. Just wanted a good close coffee/ breakfast spot a level up from Tim Horton or McDonalds.
Plenty of tea bags ( and a few old ketchup packets ), but no coffee.
We left after 1st night.
