Summary:
Slow down. Let go. Just drift.
Nestled in the heart of Middleton, Drift is your invitation to ease into coastal life and savour the simple pleasure of time well spent by the sea. Thoughtfully styled and generously appointed, this beautiful beach house is a haven for families, friends or anyone craving a deep breath of ocean air and a slower pace.
Drift comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across three serene bedrooms and a versatile home office that doubles as a fourth bedroom. The master suite offers a plush king-sized bed and private ensuite, while the second bedroom promises restful sleep in a luxurious queen. The cheerful children’s room features a bunk bed and a single — perfect for little dreamers and equally inviting for the young at heart. A cleverly designed second bathroom includes a separate dressing area, bath and shower space, and a separate toilet for added convenience.
The spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of Drift. Share leisurely breakfasts at the table for eight, unwind with a book in an armchair, or stretch out on the soon-to-arrive king sofa to enjoy a movie on the TV, complete with Sonos Bluetooth sound. The well-equipped kitchen makes entertaining effortless, boasting quality appliances, beautiful stemware, Analon saucepans, Global knives, and all the platters and servingware you need for seaside feasts.
When it’s time to embrace the coastal air, choose between two generous decks: one designed for alfresco dining and outdoor entertaining, the other styled with a cosy lounge suite and warm festoon lights — the perfect setting for long, laughter-filled evenings under a summer sky.
Younger guests (and the young at heart) will love the second lounge room — an inviting space stocked with board games, books, a big basket of LEGO, and room to plug in a console for quiet playtime after a day at the beach. To help you make the most of Middleton’s surf and sand, Drift also provides boogie boards, tennis racquets, footballs and kites for endless fun outdoors.
This light-filled retreat is brought to life with thoughtfully curated decor and artwork, including coastal pieces by renowned South Australian artist Maria Parmenter, whose evocative beachscapes beautifully echo the spirit of Drift.
Whether you’re catching the perfect wave, sharing stories over a barbecue, or simply drifting off to the sound of the ocean, Drift Middleton invites you to let the world slow down — one salty breeze at a time.
Come drift. Stay a while. Leave restored.
