“Our corner of Birmingham is quaint and quirky at the same time,” said Jen Daniel, a Crestwood resident, who’s lived there for three years. “We can walk to the record store as a family, even hear a live show from our front porch if Seasick Records is hosting a band. That’s pretty neat. Our new pharmacy serves milkshakes, and it’s right next to a vintage clothing shop. Our park even has a public pool that’s open in the summertime for the kids. Crestwood, while it’s still growing, is really turning into a neighborhood with lots of fun and convenient spots for us as a family.”
Crestwood Coffee Co. has a variety of menu options such as a cranberry walnut muffin, spicy pimento cheese, and their premium dark roasted coffee. The Filling Station is known for the delicious pizzas, pastas, salads, and history in the Crestwood community. “The Filling Station was once the last standing full-service station in Birmingham,” Kristina O’Quinn stated.
Crestwood Tavern is known for having a gorgeous mural on the right side of the shopping complex. You can find this mural at 5500 Crestwood Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35212.

My stay here was great. The beds were comfortable and the home itself was clean and cozy. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very charming property. Clean and full of charm. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I saw a family sitting on a blanket in their front yard, a few people dog walking and many runners. Definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area.

We were visiting family in the area, so we didn’t spend much time at the house. But it was in a cute neighborhood. We were invited to a block party all the neighbors were having, very kind. We were traveling with our 3 kids and dogs. Very good communication with the property manager/owner. Could use a little updated paint, and locks on the windows. There is also grates on the floor for the air conditioning that is never pictured. Just something to be aware of if you’re traveling with small kids or small pets. Overall a nice stay.

We loved our stay at the The Pond Pad! The home was inviting and family friendly. The incorporation of new, modern features blended seamlessly while protecting the integrity of the historic style.The host was excellent, super responsive and very helpful! I I look forward to another stay and recommend The Pond Pad to anyone looking for an authentic stay Birmingham!
