Absolutely stunning home on the lake. It had everything we needed and more!I finally decided to recreate one of my childhood family trips and book a lake house- first time for the hubs and all 3 of our teenage boys. Was just what we needed- on a great, quieter section of the lake (water access is limited to a small, concrete underpass, which cuts down on traffic) and this particular lot sticks out a little bit further than the neighbors, so feels more private.House is beautifully remodeled with all needs covered, plus lots of bonus features (garage game room, stereo system on the dock, etc!)No drought issues here! Water level was perfect- I've heard other sections of the lake can be shallow and this one was perfect for jumping in. Fishing was also a hit- my oldest caught 9 in one day!We had jet skis delivered and the guys who dropped off said the side of the dock was perfectly setup to tie up our jet skis. Went running a couple of times in the surrounding neighborhoods and main road leading in. Felt very safe and all the neighbors wave, which always makes my southerner heart happy. :)Had a few questions prior to and during our stay, and our host was always very quick to respond and super thoughtful. We really couldn't have asked for a better week. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property was very nice and Kay was so responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors in the development were all so nice. This is a great place with no traffic, very private and the dock was amazing to put my boat and relax on the water. The game room was fantastic!! I would definitely stay again sometime in the future. We stayed for a week during the kids’ spring break. Our group had 3 adults, 1 pre-teen and 1 teenager. It was still a bit chilly, so we didn’t get to swim, but we spent plenty of time fishing and relaxing, which made for a great trip.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for the week—plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There was also ample counter space for meal prep, which isn’t always the case in other properties we’ve stayed in. The open floor plan was a huge plus, allowing me to stay connected with the family while cooking.The primary bedroom was spacious and featured a beautiful lake view, along with a connected bathroom. Linens were provided for the beds, and the bathroom was a great size. The other two bedrooms were also comfortable and easily accommodated our kids and my brother-in-law.Our family especially enjoyed the large game room—it could definitely accommodate more people than we had in our group.Reliable Wi-Fi is essential for us since we often work remotely during our stays. We had no issues running two computers, five phones, and two traveling Xboxes We didn’t test to see if the Wi-Fi worked in the game room, but that might be something we check next time so the Xboxes can move out there.We also did a flight with Sand Dollar Seaplanes, and it was fantastic if you want something unique to do while in Lake Gaston. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are already planning to rebook for next year.

Very clean and well taken care of property and home. I consider this a great vacation spot if you are looking for a very relaxing place to stay. The house has everything you need and although I didn't bring the youngest of the granchildren I definately would next time.The game room is awesome! Best of all the fishing was fantastic from the boat dock. Caught were: bass, catfish, perch, crappie, and several beautiful large panfish. Not to mention the there were so many deer! Communication with the host was seamless. They replied very quickly and genuinely made this a great stay!! Hoping to return soon!!
