This is the perfect place for gluten free travelers, particularly if you have a gf child.
In a bustling area close to the colosseum with a great vibe, there are plenty of eateries around and the highest concentration of gluten free options I’ve seen in Rome. There’s a 24hour gf bakery just down the road (Glummy), a totally gf gelateria (including gf cones) right across from the door (Gelataria dell Angeletto) and a place with gf pizza, pasta and burgers (Amici) just 2 doors down. I also found gf focaccias about 200m away (Zia Rosetta)!
The apartment itself is so spacious and spotless - a welcome relief from our previous accomodation. It has been thoughtfully fitted with everything you may need, including washing detergent, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper etc.
The hosts (Helen and Carlene)were absolutely wonderful. I got locked out of apartment (my fault - don’t leave keys in back of door!) and they both rushed over and arranged a locksmith within the hour… all with a smile. Thanks so much!
Everything was great
