Hotel Harsha Nepal

The hotel is well located—close to the main street of Thamel but not in the noisy part. Our room was on the top sixth floor, very quiet, with a terrace view outside the window and a distant view of the Monkey Temple from the back window. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. All amenities were provided, including a sofa, desk, kettle, hairdryer, and air conditioning. The bed was soft and wide. We stayed for five nights and had breakfast buffet every day on the first floor. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, offering travel advice and assisting with taxi arrangements. We were very satisfied with our stay here.

This hotel has everything you could possibly ask for in a budget option. Clean room, quiet side street, extremely friendly staff. Every employee I talked to throughout my week long stay was nice and accommodating. There’s great restaurants right around the corner. This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately we had to leave Nepal earlier than planned but I will definitely be back to this hotel in the future.

The location was great just a short walk to the main street in Thamel but on a quiet street. Our room was super clean, the most comfortable King bed, good hot water, fluffy towels, toothbrushes, kettle, tea/coffee, and a smart tv. But best of all it has an elevator which many hotels don’t. Breakfast was ok with your choice of eggs and such. Black filter coffee as well. Excellent friendly, helpful staff that were always welcoming and cheery to come home to. The lobby was lit up at night and someone was always there so for female travelers you feel pretty safe. Good restaurants on the street as well.
