We spent most of our time sitting on the deck reading, talking, and looking at the marina—people fishing and taking care of their boats. There is a forest trail nearby, which we visited a couple of times as well. Inside, a very nice pool table, board games, and a large TV in the living room were all much appreciated.There is a water filtration/softener system for the entire house, and the tap water at the kitchen sink is filtered and very tasty. The kitchen is very comfortable for cooking. We brought food with us (some already prepared and some cooked while at the property), so we did not need to go out for the three days we stayed there. The closest grocery store is Dollar General, which is perfectly acceptable in a pinch.We enjoyed our stay very much and will try to return next year.

Couldn't have asked for better place to stay at Lake Livingston. Very nice and clean. Would definitely book again!

Best communication with a host! There were a few things that came up regarding the weekend (right after hurricane beryl) of our stay and she was so gracious with us!
