Communication was excellent, it was easy to find , access was easy , we had detailed instructions for the lodge, surroundings, places to visit or eat. . Location was good. The cabin was warm. The location was good for a multitude of places. And enjoyed several meals at the The Ferry inn St Dogmaels and The ship inn at Tresaith

The list said dogs welcome. But there's adifference between welcome and friendly. The Lodge is tiny and the dog was expected to remain in the main living area which because of furniture etc left very little floorspace. She could not go into the bedrooms or on the furniture. The kitchen is a small corridor. She could not go outside because it was not enclosed as some lodges were. Therefore the space she was actually allowed to use was very small adding her bed to the floorspace and water bowls left very little for her to wander about. Despite the lodge being really good for ordinary visitors I would not use it again whilst travelling with my dog. My advice list it for 2 legged visitors only and not inc 4 legged ones.

Well thought out, comfortable and great location.
