Wo anfangen? Die Domaine du Piaou ist ruhig und wunderschön gelegen. Wer eine herrliche Landschaft und hübsche Dörfer erkunden will, ist hier gut aufgehoben! Die ganze Domaine ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll renoviert, unser Zimmer war blitzsauber mit einem großen Balkon und einem sehr bequemen Bett. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist aber die Gastfreundschaft und Kochkunst unserer Gastgeberin Valérie! Sie hat fantastische Menüs für uns gekocht und ist dabei auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Es gibt bestimmt auch gute Restaurants in der Nähe, aber wir haben in vier Tagen nicht eines probiert, weil Valérie einfach zu lecker gekocht hat! Auch das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und reichhaltig, darüber hinaus haben wir die eine oder andere kleine Unterhaltung mit Valérie genossen. Es gibt auch einen sehr schönen Pool, in dem wir uns am Nachmittag nach unseren Wanderungen erfrischen konnten. Wir werden den Aufenthalt in der Domaine du Piaou immer in guter Erinnerung behalten, vielen Dank noch einmal für alles, Valérie!

A peaceful and very special place Domaine du Piaoi is the kind of place you don’t know you need until you arrive. It is peaceful, intimate and perfect for slowing down with the people you love. We stayed with our 18-month-old son and felt genuinely cared for from the beginning. Before our arrival, Valérie contacted us about dinner and thoughtfully arranged a baby-friendly meal. When we reached the property, she welcomed us personally and showed us to our beautiful room, with a wonderful terrace and view. She had even provided a changing mat and baby wipes—such a thoughtful touch when travelling with a small child. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. Dinner was another highlight: our son was served first, allowing us to put him to bed and then enjoy our meal peacefully on the terrace. Everything was delicious, homemade and carefully prepared, with a great wine selection and an excellent crème brûlée to finish. Breakfast was just as lovely, with artisanal products and freshly made crêpes for our son. Valérie’s warmth and attention made the whole stay feel personal and special. Domaine du Piaoi is a little gem that is absolutely worth discovering—and a place we would happily return to.
