Everything was amazing. The perfect place with a perfect host. They definitely go the extra mile for you. They put a lot of time and effort into decorating and renovating. 100% recommended

Clean comfortable and a little different.

Not a lot.

You could walk to the Old Town via the Chiang Mai gate and a Grab taxi was not expensive if coming back later in the evening. It was a family area and generally quiet, although the roads were very busy during the day. The living area was large, so plenty of space to spread out if so inclined. Lots of shops and food outlets on the main road. The owners were very kind and gave me a lift to and from my travel points.

There were some insects in the kitchen and living area which was not surprising considering the house backs on to a large green area - nothing I couldn’t cope with. There was also some music noise at night and some fireworks but it was Loy Krathong, so that could be unusual.

The Thai owner, Pla, met us from the airport and was very helpful.

We rented the place as holiday accommodation while we found somewhere more permanent to live. We rented it for five weeks, rather than the usual few days that might have been expected for a booking.com booking in Chiang Mai. Therefore, I would have expected the place to be cleaned at least once a week and the bedding to be changed. We were told that any cleaning would be at our own cost and the washing machine was provided so that we could wash the bed sheets ourselves. (We were then provided with one fitted sheet and two pillow cases to use while we were washing one set of sheets.) We asked if the toilet rolls and toiletries would be replenished, as they are deemed to be provided in the description. At first we were told no, and then a pack of toilet rolls was delivered. (No more toiletries having ran out after three days.) We moved to more permanent accommodation three days early to provide a comfortable transition to our new property. When our hosts knew about this, they wanted to send in cleaners before our rental had expired. We had to explain to them why that was inappropriate. The tone of some of the WhatsApp messages regarding the cleaning arrangements seemed harsh. We suspect these messages came from Pla's husband, as we found Pla very helpful.
