This single-story farmhouse near the village of Reguengo is ideal for a family. The characteristic quinta is situated along the scenic N2 and on the edge of the beautiful Serra de Monfuradoca nature reserve. This property is part of a complex of 3 homes with a private entrance. All guests can make use of the lovely communal garden and swimming pool, where you can cool off in the summer. Small children have a separate pool.

The historic town of Montemor-o-Novo is nearby, while Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers Roman ruins and lively squares. Since the house is located on the Rota dos Vinhos, wine lovers can discover local, family-run vineyards along the route. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy hiking, cycling, horseback riding, or water sports, or tour past the many castle and monastery ruins and through vast cork oak forests and (almost) deserted villages, with Lake Alqueva and the megaliths of Cromeleque dos Almendres a short distance away. Local restaurants in Montemor and surrounding areas serve hearty regional dishes.

Sustainability was taken into account during the renovation of the quinta; the house is self-sufficient and is kept warm/cooled by a heat pump when necessary. The accommodation is wheelchair accessible: the entrance is wide and the house has no thresholds. The garden and swimming pool are also easily accessible.

The swimming pool is open from May until October, depending on the weather.

You can also fish in the reservoir belonging to the property.
