Our host Stefano was a lovely young man, instantly responsive every time we had a problem or query. The apartment is quite compact, but it works just fine for two guests, one sleeping in the kitchenette/bedroom area and the other in a second little bedroom area reached by going up and back down a small flight of stairs. Despite its wonderfully central location, the apartment is very quiet, as it's high up on the 7th floor. And the location could not be better: just a few minutes' walk to the subway and buses, 5 minutes from the Public Gardens, Villa Reale, Villa Necchi Campiglio, 15 minutes from the Milan Cathedral (Duomo), surrounded by cafés and shops and more.

It would be helpful if there were instructions for how to recycle plastic/metal/glass/paper/organic waste (these are not provided by many of the property listings on Booking, which is something that really should change!). The kitchen is comfortable and spacious, but is missing a few important things such as dish towels and good washing-up liquid. However, we're sure that Stefano will make everything perfect for our next stay!

The location, the size of the property, plenty of room.

A bottle of water in the fridge would have been a nice touch and bed linen for both beds.
