It was very pleasant

The annex was beautiful. Everything was really well kept and clean. The facilities and location was exceptional.

The apartment is newly built, modern and beautifully decorated. It is adjacent to a large beautiful property. There is a gym onsite although we didn't use it. The location is perfect as it is within a couple minutes walk of Goring Village and shops, restaurants, takeaways and the Thames walks. Across the bridge and a 5 minute walk is Streatley, another lovely village. You have a choice of pubs and restaurants to eat in. If you walk along the Thames, you will come across more nice villages and places of interest. The accommodation was private and quiet and it felt very safe. Check in time was 4pm but Ruth agreed that we could park after 12:00 and leave our car at the property whilst we went for a walk. When we arrived, the owner (I think) welcomed us and allowed us to put our food in the fridge before heading out for a walk. We were grateful for that as it was such a hot day and our food would have been left sitting in a hot car. Ruth was very helpful in answering all my questions promptly before our stay and by sending on some comprehensive paperwork in advance. A really great stay and we came back feeling relaxed and happy.

We were sent paperwork in advance of our stay and it mentioned an oven and hob but we couldn't find it. It would be good if the hosts check the paperwork and the information booklet in the property as it could be misleading for future guests. Also, just a minor note, a couple of cups and a plate had old cracks in them.
