The location is excellent, right at the foot of the trails with good views over the valley, but only a short (15min, steep!) walk into Artenara which has a few shops and restaurants for daytime eating. The wrap-around terrace and views are really the centerpiece of this place - you can always find sun or shade to sit in, as required, and the views in every direction are great The bed is comfy, bathroom is clean, modern and works well, and the kitchen is well equipped for basic meal prep, though for longer stays, a proper oven would've been good

Only a few minor things: Main light fitting in the living space was very dim (only 1 of 6 bulbs worked properly) We stayed during a local heatwave, and generally the house stayed cool, though it heated up through the week despite diligent use of the shutters and windows to block the sun in the day and try to let the hot air out in the evenings. The access instructions were generally helpful, though I think the video of the driveway would've been better to continue right up gravel path to the green gates - the instructions also stated the lockbox would be on the gate, rather than at the front door, so we were left hunting for a while in the dark for a lockbox that wasn't there! Finally, the folding outdoor chairs were falling apart and need replacing. Glue bonds have failed, wood was warping and splitting at the joints, and it was just generally out of character compared to the rest of the property where everything was solid and well kept

Una casa con vistas espectaculares. Estás aislado, pero a 10 minutos caminando del pueblo. Es más bonita que en las fotos. La limpieza era excelente. Además con detalles de bienvenida, que siempre es de agradecer. Parece pequeña, pero las habitaciones son grandes, al igual que el baño. Detrás de la casa parten varias rutas de senderismo. En resumen una casita ideal para disfrutar del silencio y la tranquilidad, rodeados de naturaleza.

A mejorar: una ducha exterior vendría muy bien, para los días de calor, y así disfrutar de la gran terraza y las hamacas. El pomo de la puerta no funciona bien y te puedes quedar encerrado dentro. Cambiarlo por una manilla y solucionado.

Todo estaba impecable. Un detallado: la bandeja de fruta que nos dejaron. Mil gracias al señor que hace el mantenimiento de la casa ( me regaló un poco de orégano natural,q estaba plantado por fuera de la casa😍). Una paz increíble. VOLVEREMOS !!!!😍😍😍

Solo echamos de menos una mosquitera en las ventanas. Ahora en verano,hace mucho calor en esa zona, y para aliviarlo queríamos que hiciera corriente de aire dejando las ventanas abiertas, pero eso hizo que nos visitarán mosquitos. Me acribillaron😒. El resto TODO genial.

Great little stone cottage 10 mins walk from Artenara. Well equipped, lovely wood fire, great shower, comfortable bed. Fabulous views. On the GR131. Would definitely stay again, probably our favourite stay in Gran Canaria

Some kitchen basics would've been nice (salt, pepper, oil, etc)
