Guest Contact was quite responsive on check in Sunday, but totally ignored texts Wednesday and Thursday regarding no hot water at kitchen sink.

We liked the home. Everything was mediocre. There was a stench in the bathroom and bedroom. The pool was very dirty and the pump wasnt working. They did have someone come to service it on the last day of our stay but it was too late. We booked this stay partly because it had a pool so it was very upsetting. Previous tenants left pictures of dead rats throughout the house for us to find. This suggested to me that they must have had a terrible experience and thought they should share it. It also suggested the home was not cleaned very well before our stay. Otherwise they would have been found and disposed of. The host could have done better communicating. It was hard to het responses to concerns and questions. We did feel like this could be a really nice stay provided it was better managed. When we only take a few vacations a year its a bit hard to accept when there are disappointments like this. We were never offered any kind of refund or offers for what we encountered. Hopefully they do much better for future tenants.
