Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations.
It is located a short 2-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.
The beach has tide pools perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary (less than 100 from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot, It is common to see lots of people with their surfboards walking around or even in their bicycles.

The furniture is new and very comfortable for the afternoon siesta or enjoying a nice quiet evening. The sofa converts into a bed, allowing room for an additional person. The bedroom space has plenty of room and the new bed is perfect for a long night sleep. Located on beautiful Langosta Beach, the Bahia Beachfront Condominiums are the perfect spot for a vacation. The complex consists of 23 condominiums situated just steps from the beach. The lush tropical gardens and sparkling swimming pool invites you to step out and enjoy the sunshine. The pool and gardens are just a right outside your first floor condo. Stay for a long weekend or spend a couple months enjoying Costa Rica in this beautiful condo.

We stayed at Bahia Langosta May 2-9, 2026. This is an excellent location with lots to do. You can walk across the street if you crave pizza or a cocktail, or jump in the car and drive to Tamarindo’s vibrant downtown area for a myriad of food and beverage choices. Pros: gated community, large kitchen, 1 day of housekeeping if you stay 5 days, great pool area with palapa, quiet at night, a/c in unit worked really well, great communication with property mgmt coCons: tv in unit didn’t work- only access to Netflix, no dresser for clothes- had a closet only with limited space, at times the Occidental next door can be loud, parking on property can be tightNo place is going to be perfect, but if you’re looking for a place to hang your hat for a few days or a week, choose Bahia Langosta !
