Not good at all.
The location
Where to start….
So coming in, we experienced a steep spiral staircase followed by and extremely narrow and even steeper staircase to get into the place, no warning. Our bags literally couldn’t fit in the narrow gap and I dislocated my shoulder just getting our stuff up there.
The residents are extremely rude, and we literally had trash sitting outside the door to greet us as we arrived from the lady next door (not their fault)
In the place, the microwave was exploding and the shower was leaking. The appliances were falling apart, but worse was the communication.
We tried to set up an appointment with the maintenance guys, the host wad up and down about this and then eventually scheduled them for two days later for 9am.
We sat around waiting for them for an hour and a half, we then had to leave and they showed up 10 minutes later as we were going to head out, completely unapologetic just saying a meeting had run late.
We didn’t have time to accommodate.
Up until the end of our stay we didn’t have a working microwave but some bitchy resident complained about us playing music on half volume in the middle of the day, and accused us of throwing cigarette buds out the window (I’m asthmatic, I don’t smoke) and I was quick to receive a whole paragraph about our “behaviour” while not addressing a single one of our complainants.
We’ve checked out and all my issues were left at a “We will get back to you”
Haven’t had anyone get back to me.
Then I get a message on booking.com prompting me to please leave a good overall rating.
I said why would we give a good rating if we had such a bad experience.
They then offered us a 20% refund to say sorry (to get us to leave a good review)
Guess what, it’s 2 days later and I haven’t received an update about my refund and I’ve been asked again to leave a good review.
I’ve been ignored the whole of yesterday regarding the refund.
The only thing I found nice about this place was the location.
