Tiger Leaping Half Way Guest House

One of the best stays of my trip in China! I spent one night here while hiking through Tiger Leaping Gorge, and the experience was amazing. The location and views are absolutely incredible, with a spectacular view of the mountains and the gorge. After a long day of hiking, it was the perfect place to rest and enjoy the scenery. The whole atmosphere was great, and this stay is definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I would highly recommend it to anyone hiking through Tiger Leaping Gorge!

The location and view are amazing

The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The chairs were comfortable to sit and relax on which was lovely after a day of hiking. The room was very large with lots of space. The cafe on top was absolutely beautiful- coffee delicious and the views were incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very easy to find and well signposted along the hike.

There was a lot of noise coming from the cafe and other rooms at night time/early in the morning. The staff did their best to ask people to be quiet, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the walls are very thin and its easy to hear talking from other rooms, and banging from above. Not ideal after a long day hiking when you want to relax. The breakfast was just okay, could be some more options.
