Shanghai Tianhua Peoples Square bund International Hotel

Good location

The room was generally clean, but I feel it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We also had to pay for the room through Alipay. The biggest concern was that just as we were getting ready to sleep, an insect suddenly came out. I’m not sure if it was a centipede, but it looked quite dangerous and made us feel very uncomfortable. I think the room should be cleaned and checked more carefully. There was also no refrigerator in the room, which was inconvenient. We had specifically requested a room with a window, but instead, we were given a completely enclosed room with no window at all. This was quite disappointing, especially since we had requested it in advance. Overall, the stay was okay, but these issues could definitely be improved.

Very good location

It’s not spacious

Centrica

Location is this hotels main reason to stay here. Many great restaurants on this street. Close to all major city centre locations.

Lost in translation? We asked for early check-in. They sent us to another hotel miles away with no facility nearby. We came back to this location and checked in here after lunch. Reception staff were helpful but male manager was aggressively demanding 5 star ratings when people checked out.
