The girl that booked us in and showed us to the room was fab. Very friendly and Informative. Really polite and helpful too.
The tv wasn’t great.

Everything from walking in the door to the bar and the room to the barmaid (kimberley) being so helpful with recommending a great takeaway(ritz) local to the Victoria inn and me recieving a free pizza for wearing my great north run medal. I'll certainly be hoping to stay again for next year's great north run weekend.

Arriving in the evening, the 2 doors at the front of the pub were locked, with no signage to indicate to use another door. When we tried to get in contact with the contact number provided on Booking.com, there was no answer from the owner, so we originally thought we had nowhere to stay. Indication of using the side door should be provided to guests.
