Location is in a quiet location

No nearby groceries shop. The nearest service station is a 5 mins drive away

Don't be put off by the entry road to the property. It looks dodgy but persevere and you will arrive at a lovely, homely modernised apartment with lots of room. Full kitchen with various appliances like a slow cooker, 4 burner gas cooker and microwave. Large corner suite couch, large bedrooms and two bathrooms and two toilets. Loved having a washing machine on site and a raised outdoor line which kept our clothing secure while we were out for the day. For people with cat allergies, be aware there is a cute cat that hangs around, but there are screen doors and security screens so it can't get inside unless you allow it. Secure parking on a fully fenced site is also appealing. The road out the front is buusy until about 6-7pm on a weekday but remains dead silent till about 7am otherwise. Sunday morning it was quieter for longer. The apartment was equipped with towels, tea towels, cleaning clothes and some cleaning products.

The pillows were hard and there was no variety of pillow softness for those of us who like thinner options. The water in the shower wasn't hot (more tepid) but as it was warmer weather, it didn't matter too much. Be aware that like all of our hotel rooms (3-4 star), the TV wasn't connected to an antenna. You need to use your Netflix or YouTube account for extra entertainment if you are tired of your phone. Wifi could be stronger but made YouTube accessible for viewing.

Our flight was cancelled so it was a last minute booking. Most of the hotels for the night were fully booked. The place was clean. The owner of the property is very friendly and helpful. She drove us to the airport for 20FJD. The WiFi was good.

The rooms smell of old stale tobacco and musky smell. I think the smell was ingrained in the fabric and air conditioning. The place is very far away from any restaurants or shops.
