City Hotel İstanbul

The location is excellent, in Aksaray, very close to the metro and only about a 5-minute walk from the tram station. Historia Mall is also nearby, along with plenty of shops and restaurants, which makes it very convenient for exploring Istanbul. I initially stayed in Family Room 502 with my sister and her son. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and had a beautiful city view. After they left, I stayed alone for the rest of my trip, and the owner kindly offered to move me to a smaller room. I moved to Room 401 (1 week) , which was actually very spacious and comfortable, with another lovely view. The hotel feels recently renovated and has a fresh, pleasant atmosphere. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman working at night, who was always kind and attentive. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choices and enough variety, especially for such a long stay. A special thank you to the owner, who was very kind, humble, and welcoming. It was especially nice to meet someone from our country who is building a successful business abroad. I wish her and the whole team continued success. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

First, we would recommend that the hotel pay more attention to the way guests are welcomed and treated, especially by the receptionist who speaks only Turkish. Unfortunately, our experience with him on the first day was not respectful or welcoming, and it left us with a very negative first impression. Second, one small thing worth mentioning is the occasional smell from the sewage system. However, I don’t consider this a hotel-specific issue, as we noticed the same smell in many other places around Istanbul during our stay.

The surrounding area is too noisy at night, though the accommodation itself is not to blame for this.

Lokalizacja jest super: przy stacji metra, 50 m dalej jest początkowy przystanek jednej z linii autobusu lotniskowego, 400 m do tramwaju, którym w ciągu 10 minut można dojechać do Błękitnego meczetu, Hagia Sofii i pałacu Topkapi, a dalej do zatoki Złoty Róg. Obok hotelu liczne restauracje i sklepy. Sam hotel jest skromny, śniadanie raczej nie daje dużego wyboru dań, ale nie mam zastrzeżeń.Klimatyzacja działała, łazienka też i przede wszystkim sam pokój jak i korytarz był bardzo czysty.Wygodne łóżko.Uważam, że relacja ceny do zastanego stanu jest jak najbardziej korzystna.

Номер 504 на, в который нас заселили, больше был похож на кладовку, практически без окон под крышей. За дополнительные деньги 12 евро в день переселили в номер 104. Там было окно, с тюремной решёткой с видом на грязную крышу, которая была завалина окурками и грязными пустыми бутылками и гуляющими кошками. Окно боялись открыть, так как могли влезть кошки.Вещи разместить в шкафу удалось с трудом из-за того, шкаф оказался очень маленьким и к тому же был завален одеялами и подушками не первой свежести. В туалете валялись на полу волосы.
