I enjoyed my stay here immensely! The cottage was everything I had hoped for, and more. Located in the heart of Ireland, the cottage is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by a lovely wild garden full of happy birds and beautiful flowers. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable, with the most lovely clawfoot soaking tub. The owner met me at check in and explained how the water and heat worked. If you've pictured yourself staying in a quaint cottage in the countryside, this is where you'll want to be! Close to great restaurants and historical sites, this was a very welcome stop on my travels, and I only wish I could have stayed another night.

I cannot think of one thing that would have been better.

This place was an absolute gem! The hosts went above and beyond to provide everything necessary for a restful getaway in the beautiful Offaly countryside. The location was exceptional, tucked down a quiet lane with a large private garden full of beautiful flowers and old trees towering overhead. The cottage itself looked like an old-fashioned Irish dream, but was also modern and warm, with lots of extra touches for a comfortable stay. The bedroom was ideally set up for maximum rest - a large comfortable bed and plenty of pillows (and good quality linens), as well as blackout curtains that were so handy at this bright time of year. I loved sitting out with a glass of wine in the beautiful stone-walled garden, but also enjoyed the use of the turf-fired stove on chilly evenings. The cottage has a great location for venturing out to see all that the surrounding area has to offer, but is also perfect for staying put and just enjoying the peace solitude. I highly recommend!

Honestly nothing, it was just a lovely place - would go back in a heartbeat.
