Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt, ob Essen ins Zimmer liefern lassen oder sonstige Wünsche was Frühstück oder so angeht. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut zu erreichen . Man sollte auch das liebevolle Ambiente erwähnen, der Kolonialstil ist wirklich eine Augenweide, vor Ort noch viel schöner als auf dem Foto ersichtlich.Es schwimmen auch Schildkröten im Meer die man vom Zimmer aus sehen kann. PS. 150-200 Meter weiter ist ein typisch Restaurant, der Mann der Betreiberin kann sogar etwas Deutsch

The location is amazing. A couple of minutes form shore and the food was excellent. A must stay. Stumbled upon this stay on booking.com but worth every penny.

We stayed in the presidential suite. It was a very beautiful, clean, well stocked hotel room which was very comfortable and the hotel itself is in a stunning location where you can hear sound of waves and sea turtles from your balcony. They were accommodating when we asked to change our dates and requested a special Valentine’s Day Sri Lankan meal, and put a lot of thought and effort into making it special for us. It was an ideal quiet location short trip away from popular spots like Galle and Weligama

Unfortunately, we struggled to communicate with on-site staff due to a significant language barrier, which was surprising given this was by far the most expensive property we stayed at in Sri Lanka and marketed as a five-star experience. As a result, several aspects of our stay felt operationally confusing and below expectations. For example, when we asked to use the sauna, it took some time for staff to understand that it needed to be switched on. We were then told it was ready when it wasn’t, requiring us to return later. Similarly, staff did not appear to have a cocktail menu or understand requests for basic cocktails. When we asked if the hotel could arrange a tuk tuk — a very standard service at hotels in Sri Lanka — we were simply told to use the PickMe app, placing the responsibility on us. We also asked for help with the smart TV, as all apps (e.g. Netflix) showed an error, but staff were unable to understand or assist, making it too difficult to resolve. Given the cost of the stay, we would also have expected complimentary bottled or filtered water throughout, higher-quality coffee options, and more proactive service — for example, offering to book a massage or pack a takeaway breakfast for early departures. Unfortunately, every request or interaction felt unnecessarily difficult due to communication issues, which significantly detracted from the experience. This was disappointing as it was our fourth and final stay in Sri Lanka. While the property itself is visually stunning and beautifully located for a quiet escape and easy day trips to places like Galle Fort, the overall experience did not justify the price due to the lack of effective on-site service. That said, the staff we communicated with via Booking.com had an excellent grasp of English and were attentive and responsive, which made the contrast with the on-site experience even more noticeable.
