Welcome to our new cabin, Cedar Solace, where Nordic-inspired design meets North Shore tranquility in the most authentic way possible. This isn't just a vacation rental—every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to create genuine connection with Minnesota's pristine wilderness. Nestled at the end of a private, winding drive through cedar groves, this custom 3-bedroom cabin offers complete seclusion while keeping you just minutes from the region's premier adventures.

The Cedar Solace Experience:

We've created spaces that honor both comfort and connection—where Nordic-inspired clean lines meet warm Minnesota craftsmanship. Minimalist design featuring pine and metal accents creates an atmosphere that's both sophisticated and deeply rooted in North Woods authenticity.

Custom-built Finnish sauna crafted from premium Nordic spruce by Sauna Supply Company. Features professional-grade electric heater, water bucket, and essential oils for authentic löyly steam. Enjoy stunning Lake Superior views while experiencing traditional Scandinavian wellness. Perfect après-ski recovery or post-hike relaxation. The ultimate North Shore retreat ritual.

Your Private Sanctuary:

The master suite becomes your personal retreat, featuring a king bed, private en-suite bathroom with an insulated soaking tub offering forest views, and walk-in glass shower—perfect for unwinding after a day of North Shore adventure. Whether you've spent the day skiing Lutsen's slopes, hiking Superior trails, or simply exploring the charming streets of Grand Marais, this space offers restoration.

Two additional bedrooms provide king and queen beds plus bunk beds, thoughtfully designed for families or groups seeking both comfort and space.

The Cabin:

The heart of our cabin showcases a custom metal fireplace surrounded by authentic north woods modern elements, all complemented by local Minnesota art.

Our large kitchen island serves as the natural gathering spot, equipped with a fully-stocked kitchen that makes meal preparation easy. Whether you're brewing morning coffee while taking in those stunning lake views or preparing hearty après-ski dinners after a day on the mountain, this space brings people together in the most natural way.

Modern Comfort in Natural Setting:

We've incorporated modern amenities that enhance rather than distract from your North Shore experience. In-floor heating keeps the space perfectly comfortable year-round, while fast WiFi ensures you can share those incredible sunset photos or work remotely if needed. For winter enthusiasts, our ski rack and boot warmers mean you can head to Lutsen Mountains at a moment's notice with properly maintained gear.

Outdoor Living:

The expansive patio overlooking Lake Superior becomes your front-row seat to incredible sunrises, dramatic weather systems, and star-filled evening skies. Just below the patio, a fire pit area offers comfortable seating.

Fire up the gas grill for outdoor feasts while soaking in those beautiful Lake Superior views—there's something magical about preparing meals while watching the lake's ever-changing moods.

We're completing the authentic Nordic experience with a custom sauna installation this fall. Picture yourself after a day of adventure—stepping into your private sauna for traditional Finnish relaxation, then cooling off on the patio with those stunning lake views. This addition will create the complete North Shore wellness experience, honoring the region's Scandinavian heritage while providing the ultimate in restoration.

Adventure Gateway:

Adventure awaits at your doorstep. Superior Hiking Trail access means you can step directly from the cabin onto some of Minnesota's most spectacular hiking routes. Snowmobile trails provide winter access to the region's extensive trail network. And just 7 minutes away, Lutsen Mountains offers world-class skiing and year-round mountain adventures.

Perfectly Located for All the Things:

- 7 minutes to Lutsen Mountains (skiing, hiking, mountain biking)
- 6 minutes to Superior National Golf Course
- 5 minutes to North Shore Winery
- 15 minutes to Grand Marais (dining, shopping, harbor walks)
- Direct Superior Hiking Trail access

The Privacy You Crave:

Located at the very end of Mountain Ash Lane cul-de-sac, Cedar Solace offers the increasingly rare gift of privacy. Our long, scenic driveway leads through mature cedar groves to your secluded sanctuary—no neighbors behind you, just forest, lake views, and the profound tranquility you came here to find.

*Winter note: All-wheel drive is recommended for our scenic, tree-lined driveway during snowy months—but it's absolutely worth it for the privacy and forest serenity that awaits.*

Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, family adventure, friends' retreat, or simply need to reconnect with nature's rhythm, Cedar Solace provides the perfect backdrop
