I cannot say enough about our stay at the Bluebird Sanctuary. We had 14 kids and 6 adults, with beds to spare. The house was immaculate, and every detail of the decor was so tastefully thought out. We were inspired with every turn we made! The kitchen was very well stocked— we were able to bake a cake, blend smoothies, and make a delicious steak birthday dinner with ease. The kids LOVED hanging in the hot tub, berry picking in the front yard, singing karaoke in the bunk room, and playing in the incredible game room. Even the dads had a great time challenging each other to some ping pong. There were enough kayaks and paddle boards for everyone to get to explore the nearby waters at some point during our long weekend. Several naps were taken in the hammocks by the beach. And I cannot say enough things about the incredible view. From the sunroom or the porch—- it was just breathtaking at all hours. We rented a boat from Paris Landing and had a great time. We truly had the best weekend. We felt so lucky to get to meet the owner on our way in, and were in awe of all she is doing for the Kingdom. We were honored to get to stay in her beautiful home, and in a way, support this incredible ministry she has started! We hope to be back next year :-)

Great property. Plenty of space. Easy water access. My family had an excellent time.

The property was beautiful and we had plenty of space for 8 adults and 11 children. I would have given more stars when rating our experience with this house if the dock wasn’t torn up with wood planks falling off & gaps in places (my sister’s chair even broke through one of the rotten wood planks in the deck). I would highly recommend putting a latter at the end of the dock- the kids didn’t have a way to get out of the lake except for adults to constantly pull them out. Also the glass & screen door downstairs that leads outside was broken. Kids couldn’t get in and out of the house because it would stick and not close. We showed up and the dishwasher and garbage disposal was not working, but my brother (with plumbing experience) spent an hour fixing it. Trash barrels were full outside when we arrived, so we had nowhere to put trash for two days; however, the rental company sent someone out later to pick up trash. Fishing off the sides of the dock was so fun for all the kids. So definitely bring fishing poles! We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat.
