WoodPacker Hostel Auroville Pondicherry

I have stayed at this hostel for more then 1 month this hostel is more then hostel ....it's hostel and community I learned a lot here and got the chance to be part of lots of workshops

I had to leave ....but will be back for sure

The property is located in the heart of Auroville, surrounded by greenery and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the whole place has a really relaxed, positive vibe. It’s one of those places where you can easily slow down, disconnect from the usual chaos and just enjoy your time. The common areas are great for meeting people and chilling, and the overall vibe of the hostel makes the stay feel more like an experience than just accommodation.

I genuinely don’t have any negative points. I was planning to stay one night but I enjoyed the vibe so much, I ended up extending my stay for one more night.

WoodPacker was one of the highlights of my trip. The atmosphere is peaceful, social, and surrounded by nature. The hosts make everyone feel like family, and it's easy to meet fellow travelers in the beautiful common area. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the home-cooked food was delicious. The location is perfect for exploring Auroville while still enjoying a quiet stay. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, genuine hospitality, and good value for money, this is the place.

Nothing to complain about. I only wish I had stayed longer!

The host is a couple, and I had a great time with them! Very clean for the price. I especially love the common area hut, which is perfect for a relaxing work day or just to enjoy a good tea. Having great conversations with other guests was very easy. Bonus: Anuj is a great cook and the food is amazing.
