Made and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whenever we had a question or needed help with something, they were always quick to assist and were very easy to reach via WhatsApp. The accommodation was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious.
We wanted to spend a day visiting Mount Batur, and Made and his wife kindly looked after our 5-year-old son for us. He had such a wonderful time with them that he was actually disappointed when we came back “early”!
The villa is located just outside the centre of Ubud, which makes it wonderfully peaceful and quiet in the evenings. It really gives you a relaxing place to come back to after the hustle and bustle of Ubud.

The Kanda Villa was zonder twijfel de fijnste accommodatie van onze rondreis door Indonesië. Made en zijn familie hebben ons hartelijk verwelkomd en gaf een overvloed aan tips en heerlijk ontbijt. De villa ligt buiten Ubud, een verademing voor ons qua rust weg van het gebrom van scooters. Het was elke dag opnieuw genieten van het zwembad, de mooie/nette kamers, de vriendelijkheid van de familie en het lekkere ontbijt. We raden de villa iedereen aan!

Nice villa with a great pool and good breakfast. The host was friendly and very hospitable throughout our stay. Super convenient as they also helped arrange transportation.

Made a mistake with another booking and booked Kanda last minute. Glad I did. Great quiet location away from traffic noise. Very quiet with lovely outlook. Great pool. Nice garden. Sun lounges and umbrella. Large bedrooms and separate living area with large TV and streaming. Full size fridge. Place is spotlessly clean. Restaurants and cafes close by. Turned up with bleeding toe due to small scooter mishap. Hosts Made and his wife were lovely and organised first aid kit. Glad I made a mistake as I found a new go to villa when in Ubud.
Only that I didnt get to spend more here. May be worth noting it is not close to centre which I think is a blessing but some people like to be able to walk. With a scooter or by car it's perfect.
