Very modern feeling with nice luxurious dark interior. Staff were very attentive and always brought us water/tea anytime we sat at the lobby. Everything including towels bathrooms etc were packaged giving the comfort feeling that it was refreshed regularly. Good range of options for breakfast and offered free evening porridge. Laundry room was brilliant and had enough machines. Location was brilliant with a short walk to the bund.
Gym could have better equipment and housekeeping could check the toiletries more frequently. We had no conditioner.

The location is excellent right in the city center, surrounded by many restaurants and close to several historical attractions. The metro station is nearby, which makes getting around Shanghai very easy. The staff were extremely kind, warm, and welcoming, and they always greeted us with a smile, which made our stay more pleasant.
Unfortunately, the room was very cold at the end of December. The air conditioning/heating system was not working at all. When we asked the staff to fix the issue, it was not resolved, and instead we were given blankets to cover ourselves. This felt quite unprofessional and disappointing, especially considering the winter temperatures.
