Merak Pyramids Hotel

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They spoke English and assisted with everything. The property was neat and more modern than other hotels in the area. Breakfast is modest but good. The rooftop cafe had beautiful views of the pyramids. The rooms look exactly like the pictures.

There was hot water but very difficult to access. When asked about cleaning service we were told we had to request it. Only the bed was made. Nothing else was cleaned.

Fantastic location looking out to the pyramids. Get onto the rooftop at sunset, and look out for neighbouring goats (yes!) pigeons and kite flyers.

The decoration is so pretty, really good for pictures, the room were as i expected from the pictures on the app, it was so clean and the view was amazing really good for taking pics too, the staff are the nicest people ever, so kind and understanding, especially the receptionist mr.abdallah mohammad was really kind to us and really helped us in making our trip way easier, the restaurant/roof staff too were really sweet, we had a really great conversation with one of the staff, we are really thankful for this amazing service, and 100% gonna recommend this hotel to anyone i know traveling to cairo, and i will also definitely come again here

I mean the one thing that was good was that it was walking distance from the pyramids but that is literally the only good thing.

Not fully ready to accommodate people. Underdeveloped and just not it. I’ve stayed in dingy hotels but this was just not it. Breakfast was a joke apparently was told that there is no buffet on Fridays and that I should’ve known that. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to be honest. Oh and the bathrooms smell bad like they aren’t being cleaned and no hot water
