Casa Rocha

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Rocha. It was the starting point of our 3.5-week journey through Brazil, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin our trip. We were especially happy to be welcomed with a delicious breakfast after landing at 5 a.m., even though we couldn’t check in until noon. The avocado toast with scrambled eggs and lime juice is something we’ll remember even back home! We also loved the beautiful and stylish building, all the thoughtful details, and, above all, the wonderful view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood on foot, and we always felt safe. We particularly enjoyed Parque das Ruínas, the little shops around Largo dos Guimarães, and the many bars with live music, delicious drinks, and great food. A truly wonderful start to our Brazil journey. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay here. It feels like a welcoming home rather than a generic hotel room. Plus, the entire area has a peaceful, arty laid back vibe that we really loved.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel, rénové avec beaucoup de goût et un vrai souci du détail. La décoration est très belle et soignée, avec de magnifiques carreaux de ciment, de jolies couleurs et un superbe sol rénové qui donnent beaucoup de charme à l’ensemble et qui nous inspirent même pour chez nous! Mention spéciale pour la vue dégagée et magnifique sur le Pain de Sucre, un véritable plaisir au quotidien ! L’emplacement est également très bien situé pour profiter du quartier de Santa Teresa. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter et dans laquelle nous espérons revenir !

La maison est magnifique: l’extérieur comme l’intérieur où le mobilier est bien choisi, la chambre bien décorée et très propre. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Sublime vue sur le Pain de Sucre dès le matin. Le cours de yoga du samedi matin est top. Casa Rocha est très bien placée, dans le centre de Santa Teresa, tout est accessible à pied dans le quartier. La gentillesse de Lysandra et ses bons conseils sont un énorme plus pour Casa Rocha. Je reviendrai sans hésiter ici pour un prochain séjour à Rio !
