Well equipped house, well set up for self catering. Lovely to have a log burner!
Location was a bit disappointing; it’s at the very top of the hill overlooking Salcombe, which is perhaps slightly misleading within the property description. “In Salcombe” - well it is, but would be good to have had a more accurate description of location.

Excellent general comfort, well equipped kitchen and laundry room. Bedrooms and bathrooms, although not exactly spacious and the mattresses have seen better days, were perfectly adequate.
Accessibility from parking to house is challenging to say the least, especially for an 88 year old with luggage. We were also obliged to take the car into town as the walk back was far too steep for the same 88 year old. There was no advance warning .

The house was perfect for us a family of 5, clean and comfortable - highlight was definitely the fridge freezer for our children 😊
Absolutely beautiful views.
Although the house is in a perfect location for both the town and the beach (North Sands beach)! The kids did struggle with the walk back up to the house due to the steepness and also the heat. We did end up driving down to the beach a few times and managed to get street side parking so didn’t end up being a problem at all.

The property is beautifully kept, has all the facilities you would need and is in a great location to get into town and the surrounding areas. Having the enclosed garden was a bonus for the dogs.
