Novotel Tallinn

The hotel is very modern, clean and rooms are spacious. I like the layout of the room, with a separate desk area and kitchen. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful. We also liked there were a couple of good quality coffee shops nearby for a good cup of coffee every morning.

The lights in the room are controlled with two switches only and is was imposible to control some lights independently. If you wanted light in the desk area, you had to turn on the light in the rest of the room for example. Minor detail, but it caught our attention.

Lovely Room. Great location. Very convenient laundry room.

The staff could have been more informative. It would be nice to have information posted as well. The breakfast was lacking so we decided to go elsewhere.

Dostaliśmy inny pokój niż zamawialiśmy(mniejszy i bez aneksu kuchennego), ale w ramach przeprosin dostaliśmy darmowe śniadania dla 4 osób. Niestety też nie było miejsca na parkingu hotelowym podziemnym, ale obok hotelu jest dostępny spory parking.

The hotel is nice overall, with a good design and an excellent location, close to both the Old Town and the harbour. The location is definitely one of its main advantages.

Service was not perfect. The cleaning was poor on some days, and the towels were not changed. The air conditioning could not be adjusted, so it was too hot at night and uncomfortable to sleep. We also had an issue with the payment. We paid the full amount in cash at check-in. However, when we were checking out, we were asked to pay again because our payment had not been recorded in the system. We explained that we had already paid at check-in, and the employee said it was fine and there was no problem. After that, however, I received a phone call regarding the same payment issue and had to explain the situation again. Considering that the hotel is quite expensive for its category, I don’t think the level of service justifies the price.
