Welcome to Southern Cross, a charming coastal cottage in the heart of Anna Maria Island. Just a 3-minute stroll from the sugar-white sands of the Gulf, this inviting retreat blends comfort, style, and island charm—perfect for a relaxing beach getaway.
Inside, you’ll find a bright, open living area with coastal-inspired décor, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen offers modern appliances and everything you need to prepare meals at home, whether you’re enjoying them at the dining table or outside on the screened balcony with its peaceful views and fresh sea breeze.
This home features two bedrooms, each with a plush king bed and its own bathroom, creating a private and restful retreat for guests. A washer and dryer are provided for your convenience, and beach essentials are ready for days by the water.
Step outside to your own fenced backyard oasis, complete with a brand-new heated pool surrounded by swaying palms. After a day of exploring, relax on the shaded porch or poolside with a cool drink in hand as the sky transforms with a spectacular Gulf sunset.
Located in a premier Holmes Beach neighborhood, you’ll be close to local shops, restaurants, and the free island trolley. Whether you’re soaking up the sun, strolling the shoreline, or discovering all that Anna Maria Island has to offer, Southern Cross is the perfect place to call home during your stay.
PARKING: 3 cars maximum are able to park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles.
PETS: Please note this property does NOT allow pets.
***OVERCROWDING CONSEQUENCES***
Maximum occupancy of rental homes on Anna Maria Island are set by the Cities and are strictly enforced. An occupant is any person staying overnight, regardless of the number of nights. Due to recent issues of overcrowding in the area, if maximum occupancy is exceeded during your stay, a $1000 (one thousand dollar) overcrowding fee will be charged to the payment method on file and your party will be immediately evicted. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to keep Anna Maria Island enjoyable for everyone.
"You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property."
*Exceeding the noise ordinance could result in disciplinary actions including fines and/or termination of your rental agreement without refund.

Southern Cross is located at a great distance from the beach, shops and restaurants making walking easy. The check-in and out process was seamless. The varied outdoor spaces were private and relaxing. Overall the house was clean, but there were a few minor things missed (kitchen table was dirty, multiple light switch covers were dirty and smudges on some doors), but the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfy. The heated pool was a nice bonus for the cooler nights in March, and it was nice that beach equipment and beach towels were provided. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
